BSO Kids & Ko

Welcome to BSO Kids & Ko, our cheerful after-school care centre located at Klaverstraat 3 in Krimpen aan de Lek. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Nederlek (SKN) and provide care for up to 40 children in two vertical groups. Our building is uniquely situated between primary schools De Wegwijzer and Prinses Ireneschool, allowing our pedagogical staff to collect the children on foot in a safe and relaxed way. We follow the Pedagogisch Actief! method. This approach helps our team shape every day with clear structure, safety and challenge. Guided by positive interaction and developmental opportunities, we offer activities that match each child’s world of experience. Besides free play, we organise creative workshops, sports and games, and nature-based play. During school holidays the programme becomes even more festive with age-specific outings and themed days. Outdoor play is as important to us as indoor activities. Children can choose from two school playgrounds and our own outdoor space, where they can run, climb and enjoy sports. For special activities we also use a nearby gym and play hall. Fruit, raw vegetables, yoghurt, crackers and drinks are included as standard; when allergies or dietary needs arise we consult personally with parents. All food-related matters are covered in our nutrition policy so every child can participate safely and healthily. Parents stay involved through the KidsKonnect app and personal contact at pick-up. For children who travel home independently, we schedule bi-monthly parent conversations. Together we ensure that every child feels safe, valued and challenged at BSO Kids & Ko.
