BSO Kids de Rietkraag

Welcome to BSO Kids De Rietkraag, located in public primary school De Rietkraag at Rietschoot 342 in Oostzaan. For over 25 years, we have been providing after-school care with pleasure for children aged 4 to 13. Our BSO consists of one cozy group where children meet after school. Our pedagogical staff pick up children daily around 2:00 PM from OBS De Rietkraag or welcome them when they come independently. After a busy school day, it's time to relax together with friends. Around 3:00 PM, a healthy snack is ready, such as crackers with chicken fillet and spreadable cheese. Then children choose which activity to join. We create art together, learn how to make a cheese stick, play outside a lot, and regularly use the school's gym. Sometimes we surprise the children with a visit to the petting zoo or another outing. Around 4:30 PM, we eat fruit and sliced vegetables together at the table. From 5:00 PM, the first parents come to pick up their child. We briefly discuss the day, and in the Parent App, you can read a more detailed report of the day with photos. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, including during school holidays. During holidays, we always try to make it an extra celebration with special workshops, given by our pedagogical staff or by professionals we hire. We work with flexible care packages so you can choose the amount of hours that best suits your situation.
