Kids Aktief KVZ

Welcome to Kids Aktief BSO KVZ, the most sporty after-school care in Zaandam! We are located right in the heart of the sports district at Sportlaan 3, next to the KVZ’23 korfball club. Our location welcomes up to 46 children aged 4 to 12 and is fully designed for active fun, sports and shared growth. At BSO KVZ, sport and movement are at the core of everything we do. Children playfully discover different sports and activities, uncovering their talents and interests along the way. We use the facilities of the korfball club: the clubhouse, changing rooms and sports fields. Kids can even continue straight to KVZ’23 training sessions after our programme. Our qualified staff guide sports and games in groups of up to 20-24 children, ensuring high-quality lessons. During holidays and study days we run extended programmes with trips to playgrounds, parks, forests, indoor play centres, bowling alleys, museums and outdoor paddling pools. We collect children daily from primary schools in Zaandam. Monday to Friday we are open until 18:30. On school-free days we open at 08:30 and close at 18:30. Parents can drop off between 8:30-9:30 and pick up between 16:30-18:30. For any other times, please contact the location directly. Healthy living is important to us. We serve mainly products from the Dutch ‘Wheel of Five’: vegetables, fruit, whole-grain bread and healthy drinks. Lunch consists of up to four sandwiches per child. Allergies or special diets are always discussed and arranged with parents. For holidays and study days we partner with BSO Hercules. Children from KVZ are then cared for at the Hercules site under the same familiar staff, creating an even more varied holiday programme. Parents are informed well in advance about dates, location and activities. Communication runs through the Konnect parent portal. Via the app or website you can register attendance, request holiday days and exchange messages with our pedagogical staff. Registrations are completed through the online form on our website. Our pedagogical policy focuses on each child’s unique development. We provide a safe environment where children build confidence, develop social skills and enjoy being active.
