Welcome to Kideo Assen B.V., our after-school care location at Mr. P.J. Troelstralaan 1B in Assen. We provide out-of-school care for 44 children aged 4 to 12 years. The location has been officially registered as a BSO since 1 January 2010 and is part of Kideo Kinderopvang, a private initiative offering high-quality childcare in the three northern provinces since 2001. At Kideo we work with horizontal groups, where children are grouped by age. For our BSO we maintain a staff-child ratio of 1:10. Our pedagogical staff are familiar faces; even stand-ins during illness come from a fixed pool, ensuring children and parents always see familiar faces. Our pedagogical policy is based on Emmi Pikler's vision and focuses on warmth, safety and playfully stimulating your child's development. Our location feels like a second home: warm, familiar and cozy. Children can be themselves and have all the space to play, discover and relax after a school day. We work with a parent portal so you are always informed about your child's experiences.
