Klein Alkmaar Spieghelplein (BSO)

Klein Alkmaar Spieghelplein (BSO) is a small-scale after-school care facility located right in the centre of Alkmaar at Spieghelplein 45. The location is part of Stichting Klein Alkmaar, a committed and forward-thinking childcare organisation active in every district of Alkmaar. Since 5 November 2020 we have welcomed up to 20 primary-school children aged 4 to 12 after school hours. Our BSO offers a safe, homely place where children can relax, play and discover new things once the school day is over. Guided by a sustainable and social vision, we build warm relationships with children, parents and our partners. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready to support children in developing independence and processing their experiences at school. Children can choose from a variety of activities: going on adventures, hanging out with friends, playing football, doing crafts, baking, playing board games or simply having a chat to let off steam. We provide a familiar environment in which every child feels seen and heard. Our approach is flexible and tailored to the needs of each child, allowing parents to work with peace of mind. Klein Alkmaar stands for commitment, social engagement and flexibility.
