Welcome to Kibeo Educatief Centrum De Regenboog, located at Coudorp 3 in the heart of Nieuwdorp. We are the after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 12 who attend De Regenboog primary school or another school in the area. Since October 2021 we have been working closely with the school so that, after the last bell rings, your child steps straight into a familiar, safe and challenging place to spend the afternoon. Our BSO is housed in a bright, welcoming classroom on the school’s upper floor. The space is fitted out with sustainable materials and calm, friendly colours that invite both play and relaxation. A real eye-catcher is the creative workbench where children can use free craft supplies to draw, build, paint or simply experiment. We have a lovely school playground where children can run, climb and romp to their hearts’ content, and we regularly make use of the natural play and learning environment around the school. Our aim is to make every afternoon enjoyable and meaningful. We devote plenty of attention to sport, games, nature and creativity, while also offering quiet moments when needed. Our qualified pedagogical staff are on hand to plan activities together with the children, help with homework or simply lend a listening ear. We work in small, mixed-age groups so that every child has room to be themselves and to learn from one another. Kibeo Educatief Centrum De Regenboog is open before and after school on Mondays and Tuesdays, and after school on Thursdays.
