Buitenschoolse opvang Reuzefijn

BSO Reuzefijn is part of Flow kinderopvang and provides after-school care at two locations in Kerkrade for children aged 4 to 12. The main site at Smedenstraat 1A houses one after-school group and a day-care centre; two further groups are located at a satellite site at primary school De Diabolo. This setup allows us to welcome up to 22 children per day while keeping the atmosphere homely and manageable. After school, everyone gathers in the large room at the main site for a joint meal and drink. Children then decide for themselves what they want to do: relax on the sofa with a book, join the daily activities, or retreat to the separate chill room for a small-group project. We practise child participation: children and the ‘child alderman’ help design the monthly activity calendar so the programme truly reflects their interests. Outdoor play is part of every day. Our spacious, green and shady playground offers plenty of room to run, climb and romp. During holiday weeks all groups move to the satellite site, where we also use the schoolyard for extra play space. We pick up children from primary schools St. Ursula and De Diabolo; parents using morning care drop off by 09:00 and can collect from 16:00 onwards.
