Prokino Charlois BSO

Welcome to Prokino Charlois BSO, located at Schulpweg 37 in Rotterdam. Together with our day-care and toddler-care services under one roof, we provide after-school care for up to 73 children aged 4 to 13. Our dedicated and enthusiastic pedagogical staff ensure that every child can play, explore and develop in a safe, welcoming environment alongside peers of the same age. Freedom of choice is central at our BSO. We use DOENKids!, a programme specially developed for after-school care, packed with sports and play activities. Each child decides what to do that afternoon: join the group activity or enjoy something individually. In this playful way children learn to play and cooperate together, while having the space to follow their own needs. Our location is small-scale and attractively furnished. Children are cared for in a fixed group with familiar pedagogical staff, creating recognition and trust. We have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 January 2010, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance. The GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond supervises our quality.
