KC Toermalijn

Welcome to BSO KC Toermalijn, located in our beautiful new building at Beeklaan 184 in the heart of the Regentessekwartier in The Hague. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 years in a spacious, bright and modern facility specially designed to let children discover, play and develop. Our BSO is part of Kindcentrum Toermalijn, where education, toddler learning, daycare and after-school care come together under one roof. The Center for Youth and Family is also located in our building, creating a close-knit network around your child. After school, children can come to us in a familiar environment where they quickly feel at home. We have an exciting discovery garden where children can play to their heart's content and explore nature. Additionally, we have an art studio where we offer creative activities, a music room for musical expression, a sand and water area for sensory play, and a sports area for active challenges. Our spacious green outdoor area offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor play. We regularly organize trips to fun places in the neighborhood such as Newtonplein, De Verademing, the library and De Vlindertuin. Cooking and baking together with the children is also something we enjoy, where we learn about healthy nutrition and cooperation. Our activity program is broad and tailored to the interests of the children, from sports and games to arts and culture. During school holidays, we offer an extensive holiday program with 2Samen KICKS. Children then experience days full of fun and educational games, workshops, experiences and special activities such as survival and camp days. All this is included in our care, without additional costs. Our pedagogical staff work from the Pedagogical House of 2Samen, ensuring that every child feels seen and valued. We provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can develop at their own pace and in their own way. BSO KC Toermalijn is open after school until 6:00 PM and during holidays from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We work with a parent app that keeps you informed about your child's activities and developments.
