KC Prinses Amalia

Welcome to KC Prinses Amalia, our childcare centre located right in the heart of Veenendaal at Prins Willem-Alexanderpark 602. We are part of Kwink, an organisation that has been providing childcare close to home for more than ten years. Children aged 0 to 12 are welcome for day-care, toddler care and after-school care. For the after-school group this means that, as soon as the school day ends, our qualified pedagogical staff are ready to greet the children with a smile. Our after-school children decide for themselves what they want to do that day. We offer a wide range of sports and play activities, both indoors and outdoors. Our large, imaginatively designed outdoor space gives plenty of room to run, climb, play football or simply let off steam. Inside there are quiet corners where children can build, craft or play a game. We believe every child should feel free to explore the world in his or her own way. KC Prinses Amalia works closely with primary school TOV, which is located at the same address. This means that after school the children walk just a few steps from their classroom to our after-school room. Lines of communication are short and the transition is smooth. Parents can rest assured: their child is in trusted hands and can spend the afternoon in a safe, homely environment. We are convinced that children flourish when they are allowed to choose and discover for themselves. Therefore we do not offer a rigid programme, but a broad range of activities from which children can choose. Whether they want to burn off energy on the sports field or quietly read in the book corner, at KC Prinses Amalia it is all possible. Together with our enthusiastic team we look every day at what the children need and tailor our guidance accordingly.
