KC Kees

Welcome to KC Kees – our small-scale after-school care located at Dorpsweg 1a in Poederoijen. We are part of Kindercentrum Kees, a Christian organisation with an open admission policy that has been providing committed childcare in the heart of the Altena-Bommelerwaard since 2008. Our BSO location on Dorpsweg is designed for a maximum of 6 primary-school children aged 4 to 12. The small group size ensures calm, overview and lots of personal attention. We pick children up from Juliana van Stolbergschool (about 1.7 km away) and from other schools in Poederoijen and the surrounding area; parents pay € 3.50 per pick-up or drop-off ride. After school a healthy, warm meal is served (€ 3.50) or children can bring their own food. Our guiding principle is “responsibility and balance”. We offer a homely atmosphere in which children can choose for themselves: relax with a book, do something creative, play outside in the garden or play a game together. During school holidays we are open all day and turn it into a party with themed activities, trips to the playground or sports and game days.
