KC de Schakel

Welcome to KC de Schakel, our after-school care centre located at Langelaar 24 in Veenendaal. We are part of Kwink B.V. and provide care for up to 44 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our BSO has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 January 2017 under number 270816501. Our facility is situated on the ground floor of primary school De Schakel. Children come here after school hours and during holidays and study days. The familiar school environment offers calm and recognition. We work closely with the school and with CBS De Grondtoon to ensure the care aligns seamlessly with school hours and holidays. At KC de Schakel, play and discovery are central. We provide a homely and safe place where children can develop freely. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with attention and care. We have fixed groups, so every child is familiar with the staff and the other children. The rooms are set up with corners for crafts, games, building and reading. Outside there is a playground where children can romp, cycle and play sports. During school weeks we are open from 14:00 to 18:30. In school holidays and on study days we offer day care from 08:30 to 18:30. We then organise fun outings and themed days. Think of scavenger hunts, sports tournaments, craft workshops and nature activities. We also regularly cook and bake with the children. All in a relaxed atmosphere, where fun and development go hand in hand.
