BSO Kasteel Spangen

Since late 2022, BSO Kasteel Spangen has been welcoming children in the vibrant Spangen district of Rotterdam. Located at Nicolaas Beetsstraat 4, we share the building with OBS Kasteel Spangen, allowing children to transition seamlessly from school to after-school care in familiar surroundings. Our BSO accommodates 22 children daily in a warm and engaging environment. We believe children discover and develop their talents best when they have the freedom to choose. That's why we actively involve children in planning our daily activities. Whether it's outdoor play and sports, arts and crafts, getting lost in a good book, or simply relaxing with friends – the possibilities are endless. Our dedicated pedagogical staff members Mariam and Sijomara offer diverse activities daily, always seeking input from the children to ensure everyone finds something they love. Our partnership with the school is exceptionally close. We align our themes with the school's curriculum, and our staff members are present in classrooms during school hours, building strong relationships with every child. This seamless integration ensures each child receives personalized care. Children enjoy our dedicated ground-floor BSO room and the school's playroom, equipped with age-appropriate materials for all interests. During school holidays, boredom is never an option. Our summer BSO Holiday Land program features exciting themed activities and challenges. Similar engaging programs run during other school breaks. We value parent involvement highly and maintain open communication to support each child's development journey together.
