Karekiethof - Dependance

Welcome to BSO Karekiethof – Dependance, located at Kerkweg 82 in the heart of Ouderkerk aan den IJssel. This location is part of Partou, a national childcare organization with over 100 years of experience. Since June 1, 2023, this dependance has been offering after-school care to a maximum of 22 children aged 4 to 12. The location is centrally situated in the village, right next to the main location BSO Karekiethof 10. This allows us to flexibly respond to the childcare needs of parents and children in the immediate area. We work closely with primary schools in Ouderkerk aan den IJssel, ensuring we can safely and reliably pick up children after school and bring them to our location. At Karekiethof – Dependance, the child is at the center of everything we do. We provide a homely and safe environment where children can relax after a busy school day. Our pedagogical staff are professionally trained and ensure a warm and stable group setting. We offer quiet moments for children who need to rest, as well as challenging activities for those who want to burn off energy. Our spaces are designed with play and development in mind. Children can choose what they want to do: from crafting and building to board games or cooking together. We make use of the opportunities our location and immediate surroundings offer. When the weather is nice, we love to go outside to play in the garden or on the school playground. As part of Partou, we follow their pedagogical policy, which focuses on attention, freedom, and structure. We believe it's important that children feel safe to be themselves and have the space to develop at their own pace. Parents are actively involved in the care and can always turn to our team with questions or for consultation. BSO Karekiethof – Dependance is a small-scale location with a personal approach.
