BSO Kantens

BSO Kantens is located in the Child Centre Kantens at Pastorieweg 6 in the village of Kantens, municipality of Het Hogeland. We are part of Stichting Goud, an organization providing childcare and primary education in the municipalities of Groningen, Het Hogeland and Westerkwartier. Our child centre combines a public primary school with childcare, allowing children from 0 to 13 years to grow and develop in one familiar environment. Our after-school care is specifically designed for children aged 4 to 13 who attend primary school. We provide care before and after school hours, closely following the children's school rhythm. Our pedagogical staff pick up children from school and ensure a safe transition to the after-school care. We believe it's important that children feel at home with us and have space to relax after a day at school. At our after-school care, learning through play is central. We offer a safe and stimulating environment where children can play, discover and learn new things. Our activities are tailored to the age and interests of the children. We work with fixed base groups, but also offer variety through activities in other spaces of the child centre. This allows children to make new friendships and develop at their own pace. As part of Stichting Goud, we work according to their vision on development and education. We believe in a continuous learning path from 0 to 13 years, where childcare and education complement each other.
