BSO Kabaal

At after-school care Kabaal in Montfoort you will often hear a cheerful racket in the afternoons – the sound of happy children enjoying a great afternoon together. We are located in sports hall Hofland at Bovenkerkweg 78, where we have a spacious group room with different play corners for building, a home corner with kitchen, and a second room with a tent and cushions for making dens. Outside there is a green garden with a tunnel and sandbox; sometimes we hire the sports fields across the road so the children can enjoy sports. Children decide for themselves what they want to do – we call this child participation. Together with the pedagogical staff they choose themes and activities, learning to negotiate and take others’ wishes into account. During holidays Kabaal is open all day and we organise extra sports, workshops and activities such as a birds of prey show, Lego building or drum lessons. Of course there is also room to quietly read a Donald Duck. Kabaal provides care for up to 40 school-age children from 4 to 9 years and works together with primary schools in the area. Please note: this location will close on 1 October 2025 and registration is no longer possible.
