BSO Jan van Schengen

Welcome to BSO Jan van Schengen, located at Mr Dr Meslaan 8 in the centre of Heinkenszand. From this single site we provide both before- and after-school care for up to 32 primary-school children aged 4 to 12. We open at 7.00 a.m. and close at 6.30 p.m., giving parents the flexibility they need for work or study. BSO Jan van Schengen is part of Kibeo, a nationwide organisation with more than 25 years of experience in childcare. Our spacious, secure group rooms are staffed by familiar pedagogical professionals who know every child and encourage each one to explore what energises them. We offer a varied programme that includes crafts, outdoor play, games and quiet moments, while always leaving room for children’s own choices: they decide whether to join an activity or simply enjoy free play. The after-school club is situated right next to Jan van Schengen primary school. We collect children from their classrooms after school and escort them safely to the BSO area. We also cooperate with other primary schools in Heinkenszand and the surrounding region, so children from different schools are welcome. Parents who use morning care can rely on us to bring their children to school on time. In short, BSO Jan van Schengen is a second home where children can play, relax and learn new things after school in a familiar, welcoming environment.
