BSO Jacob Marisplein

Welcome to Partou After-School Care Jacob Marisplein, located on the top floor of Jacob Maris primary school in the green Hillegersberg-Schiebroek district. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who have finished their school day. Our location is open Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 18:30, and on Wednesdays already from 12:00. On teacher-training days we start at 07:30 so parents can work worry-free. Play-based learning is at the heart of what we do. We love getting creative with the children: painting, crafting and self-invented games alternate with cooking and sporty challenges. For children aged 7 and up we organise weekly sports sessions at the Tooroplaan sports hall. If a child prefers not to join in, they can enjoy free play in one of our quiet corners or on the spacious, safe school playground. We work closely with Montessori School Jacob Maris, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our pedagogical staff pick the children up directly from school and guide them to our after-school rooms. Through the Partou parent app we keep parents updated on the day: photos, reports and the option to request extra days or register absences. Each year we organise at least two parent-child activities and parent evenings around current themes. Our parent committee actively contributes ideas on policy and activities. On busy teacher-training days or holidays children can also visit our sister location Partou BSO Terra, so we can always offer enough playmates and challenging activities.
