De Kleine Wereld BSO De Kleine Reus I

We are De Kleine Wereld BSO De Kleine Reus I, located at Noorderstraat 6 in the heart of Amsterdam. Together with IKC De Kleine Reus, we form a close-knit team providing after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. Our location accommodates 70 children and is fully equipped to meet the needs of school-age children who, after an intensive school day, need rest, play, and personal attention. Our pedagogical staff pick up the children from school daily and bring them to our spacious group rooms. Here, children can choose from a wide range of activities: from sports and games in our movement room to creative workshops in the studio. We pay special attention to music, dance, and talent development. Between the two school buildings lies a beautiful outdoor space where children can play football, garden, or build in the outdoor studio. After a long school day, free time is central to our approach. Children may choose whether to participate in activities or quietly read a book in our reading corner. We believe every child is unique and therefore give ample space to individual development. Our experienced staff provide personal attention and guide children in their social-emotional growth. As part of the Integral Child Center, we work closely with primary school De Kleine Reus. We also provide during-school care (TSO) and offer pedagogical staff who assist in the classroom. This way, we know each child well and can optimally align with their development. Parents receive an annual invoice for TSO, as this does not fall under childcare allowance. Our opening hours are on regular school days from 15:00 to 18:30 and on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 18:30. We are proud that children with us may be who they are and have fun while discovering what they are good at.
