Welcome to the toddler care of In de Manne, located in the heart of the In de Manne child center at Steenstraat 30 in Veendam. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and familiar environment. As our toddler care is part of the integral child center, children become acquainted with the school environment at an early age, which facilitates the transition to group 1. Our toddler care follows the principles of Jenaplan education, where children's experiences and perceptions are central. We use the VVE program Startblokken to structure activities that stimulate the broad development of toddlers. This includes not only language development but also numeracy skills, motor skills, social skills and values. These activities are offered in a playful manner by our permanent staff member Miranda Strijker. We believe it is important that children feel safe and can be themselves. That is why we work together from the relationship to grow. We pay a lot of attention to healthy behavior, exercise and nature experience. We are affiliated with the program "Bewegen met Nijntje", through which we let young children move in a playful way and thus stimulate a healthy lifestyle. Our toddler care is open Monday to Thursday from 08:30 to 12:30. Extended care is possible until 13:50. We are closed during school holidays and official holidays.
