Welcome to the After-School Care (BSO) of IKC Pius X, located at Cuperstraat 7 in the heart of Bemmel. Our Integral Child Center offers not only primary education and daycare but also extensive after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. We are part of the Primary Education Foundation De Linge and operate from a clear vision: seeing children, giving trust, and growing together. Our BSO is open every school day. On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:30 to 18:00. On Wednesday and Friday, when school ends earlier, we start at 12:00. Our pedagogical staff pick up the children directly after school from their classroom. There's always time for a brief handover from the teacher, so we know how the day went and if any special attention is needed. Upon entering our BSO space, there's first time for rest and something to eat and drink. Then children choose their activity using our planning board. We offer a wide range of possibilities: creative activities like crafting and painting, sports and games in our own gym, nature activities, cooking and baking, or just chatting with friends. We regularly invite external organizations for sports clinics or creative workshops, allowing children to discover their talents. Our location features a spacious gym where we can move, dance, build huts or create an obstacle course even in bad weather. We use the school garden for outdoor play and nature activities. Children learn independence with us: they make their own sandwiches, use real glasses and dishes, and help with tidying up. We believe it's important for children to feel safe and at home with us. During school holidays, we organize an extensive holiday program with themed activities. Think football tournaments, cooking workshops, theater performances or nature excursions. For parents, this offers the possibility to take extra care on study days or during holidays. We communicate through the parent portal and are active on social media, so parents can see what their children are experiencing. Our BSO groups have a horizontal structure with age groups from 4-12 years. We work with fixed pedagogical staff who know the children well and understand their needs. Together we create a party for your child every day!
