BSO IKC Katwijk

Welcome to BSO IKC Katwijk, part of Stichting KOK kinderopvang. We are located in the modern Integral Child Centre at Van Lierestraat 8 in Katwijk. Since 1 November 2024 we provide daily after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. Our BSO works with Daltonschool Katwijk, De Windvang and De Leidse Buitenschool. We collect children after school and bring them to our location, where they can stay until 18:30. Older children may also come to the BSO independently. We offer a broad activity programme in the categories Sports & Games, Music & Dance, Arts & Culture and Nature. We work with themes that connect to the children's world of experience. Child participation is central: together with the children we determine the content of our activities. We regularly organise outings to the forest, the beach, a museum or the playground. We also provide workshops where children can discover and develop new talents. In collaboration with Cardea, we also offer BSO+: an inclusive form of care for children with additional support needs. There are seven care places available. Placement always takes place in consultation with parents and involved professionals. Our pedagogical staff are professional and committed. We provide a safe and challenging environment where children can develop at their own pace. We use the facilities of the IKC, including spacious indoor and outdoor areas and a gym.
