IKC Jan Ligthart

Welcome to IKC Jan Ligthart, located at Plein Emaus 6 in Vlaardingen. As an integral child center, we are part of Wijzer in Opvang en Onderwijs and provide both education and childcare under one roof. Our location at Plein Emaus is specially designed for children from 0 to 6 years old, with our after-school care (BSO) focusing on children up to 6 years. At IKC Jan Ligthart, we work according to the principle of a continuous line between childcare and education. This means there is a seamless transition between the school day and after-school care, with attention to care and warm transfer. We tailor our approach to the needs and possibilities of each child, from extra challenge to just a bit more guidance. Our BSO offers children a familiar and safe environment after school hours, with professional pedagogical staff who put your child's development first. As an integral child center, we can optimally collaborate between the different components of our center, ensuring a consistent approach throughout the day.
