Welcome to BSO UnieK, part of Integral Child Center UnieK located at Vondelstraat 11B in Aalten. Our after-school care is situated in the spaces above the daycare center, with a separate entrance on the left side of the building. We provide care for children aged 4 to 13 years, where education, care and relaxation go hand in hand. Our location features two specially designed spaces. The upper floor is designated for our youngest children, the 4-7 year olds, with cozy corners and a wide range of activities and play materials. The other space, located within the school, is warmly and homely furnished with various games, craft materials, a large craft/work table and an interactive whiteboard. We offer children a varied activity program focused on six pillars: studio (creative development), nature, sports and games, technology, theater and multimedia/language. Children are free to choose whether to participate in activities or prefer to do something else. We believe it's important that children have space to relax and play after a day at school. Our outdoor area offers plenty of opportunities. The youngest children play in the enclosed schoolyard, while the 8+ group uses the playground to the left of the school. We also have an indoor playroom for additional play opportunities. Unique to our location is the possibility to participate in swimming lessons during BSO time. We operate with fixed opening hours: Monday through Friday for both before and after school care. The before-school care starts from 7:30 AM (7:00 AM is possible by arrangement) and the after-school care runs from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM. During care hours, we provide fruit with a cookie and drinks. For children picked up after 5:30 PM, there is often an additional snack available.
