IKC Ichthus

Welcome to the after-school care of IKC Ichthus, located at Steenen Dijck 4 in Maassluis. As part of the UN1EK education and childcare foundation, we provide children aged 4 to 13 with a familiar place before and after school. Our pedagogical staff welcome the children in the same building where they attend classes during the day, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition from school day to after-school care. We operate a 40-week package aligned with the school calendar. Care is available on regular school days from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with extended care possible until 6:30 PM. On study afternoons, days around public holidays, and the afternoons before holiday periods, we offer BSO+ care. During school holidays we provide holiday care where parents can choose an all-inclusive 12-week package, a 3-, 6- or 9-week selection package, or flexible holiday care per school holiday. The current holiday programme is published on our website a few weeks in advance. Our activities are tailored to the age and interests of the children. We offer sports and games, crafts, technology, nature and cultural education, and regular excursions. For sporty children, there is break-time sports on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Parents register their child via the parent portal Kindplanner and receive information through the Schoolpraat app, email, Facebook and information letters. Together with parents, we ensure that every child feels safe and at home at IKC Ichthus.
