IKC Erasmus

Welcome to IKC Erasmus, a small-scale Integrated Child Centre located at Huijgensstraat 64 in the centre of Vlaardingen. We are part of the Wijzer in Education foundation and, under one roof, offer public primary education, toddler care and out-of-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12. Thanks to our compact size we know every child and family personally; short lines and a close-knit team guarantee a safe, familiar place where children feel seen and valued. Our BSO is fully integrated into the school building. This means your child does not have to travel after school: the familiar classrooms, play hall and outdoor space remain the same. We operate from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. for both before- and after-school care. We are also open during study days and school holidays, so you can always rely on us. The pedagogical staff of Wijzer in Opvang are ready to play, craft, build or quietly do homework. We align our activities with the themes being covered at school and give children space to make their own choices. In this way they discover their talents and develop self-confidence.
