BSO De Swirrel

BSO De Swirrel is part of IKC De Swirrel, an integrated child centre located at Greate Buorren 32 in Britsum. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 on Monday through Friday after school hours. Care takes place in the same building as the primary school, allowing children to stay in their familiar surroundings. Since 1 January 2020, our education and childcare teams have merged into one close-knit team, ensuring a seamless line between school and after-school care. Our BSO is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 192563580 and has a capacity of up to 30 children. We operate one base group with a maximum group size of 22 children. Each child is assigned a personal mentor who is the main contact for parents and regularly discusses the child’s development. BSO De Swirrel is open on all school days from 14:00 onwards. During school holidays and study days, children who normally use our BSO or VSO can join paid holiday care. In the holidays we occasionally collaborate with BSO De Twirre in Minnertsga and BSO De Wachter in Sint Annaparochie, ensuring we can always offer a fun and safe group.
