BSO De Wachter

BSO De Wachter is located within Basisschool De Wachter in Sint Annaparochie and is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Noardwest Fryslân. We provide after-school care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 years, with plans to expand to 30 places. Our BSO is open Monday through Friday from 7:00-8:30 AM for before-school care and 2:15-6:30 PM for after-school care. During school holidays, we are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. We operate with one mixed-age group called 'De Wachter'. Children have access to a dedicated group space within the school and use part of the hallway for individual activities. For outdoor play, we utilize the rear section of the primary school's playground. During school-free days, cross-center care may be provided at BSO de Swirrel in Britsum or BSO de Twirre in Minnertsga, with a mid-holiday exchange. Each child is assigned a personal mentor who serves as the primary contact for parents and discusses the child's development when desired. Our pedagogical staff are qualified according to the Childcare Collective Labor Agreement and speak both Dutch and Frisian.
