Eglantier

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of IKC De Eglantier, located at Ina Boudier-Bakkerstraat 2 in Delft. We are part of Kinderopvang Morgen and provide a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 4 to 12 after school hours. Our team works with one shared vision, creating a pedagogical climate where every child can be themselves and develop their talents. Our BSO is built around four themes: nature-rich, movement-rich, music-rich, and human-rich. Each day, we offer activities that connect to these themes. In our hobby greenhouse, right next to the school gardens, children grow their own vegetables like tomatoes. This playful approach teaches them about healthy eating and sustainability. We collaborate with JOGG (Youth on Healthy Weight) to promote an active and healthy lifestyle. Sports and movement are central to our program: from volleyball and relay races to dancing and singing. We have a stage and a theatre corner where children can perform. For older children, we offer a special 7+ BSO with technical and creative activities such as woodworking and jewelry making. During school holidays, we provide a varied holiday program including trips to places like Plaswijckpark, the beach, or Delftse Hout. We believe in social engagement. Children participate in initiatives like the Cliniclowns campaign and learn to care for others. Every child is welcome to be themselves and grow at their own pace. We aim to broaden their horizons and prepare them for a future as global citizens.
