BSO IKC De Edelsteen Sierraadlaan

Welcome to BSO IKC De Edelsteen Sieraadlaan, part of gro-up childcare, located in the heart of the Rokkeveen district in Zoetermeer. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a safe, stimulating and homely environment. Our location is situated in the auditorium of the IKC De Edelsteen school building at Sieraadlaan 100, allowing us to seamlessly connect to school hours and receive children directly after school. Our pedagogical staff are ready from 14:45 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays to welcome children in the Blue base group. This group is designed for up to 30 children from grades 3, 4 and partly 5 of Daltonschool De Edelsteen. We work with three permanent pedagogical staff members who ensure a familiar and stable environment. After school, a healthy buffet with food and drinks is ready, where children can relax from the school day and share their experiences. We believe in independence and child participation. Children have a say in the layout of the space, play materials and activity offerings. We offer challenging and varied activities, where children can choose whether to participate or play freely. Our activities range from sports and games, arts and crafts to excursions to places like Madurodam, the beach or playground De Spil. During holidays we organize a festive holiday program with themes and joint activities. The outdoor area is safely enclosed with wooden fences, allowing children to freely cycle, run, play football or enjoy the playground. We collaborate with parents through the gro-up parent portal and parent app, where you can register and deregister your child and stay informed about all developments.
