IKC De Ark (BSO)

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of IKC De Ark, located at Baarnhoeve 4 in Vlaardingen. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13, 52 weeks a year, from 07:30 to 18:30. Our location is part of Kindcentrum De Ark and works in partnership with KindeRdam childcare. Our BSO is one big adventure. Children can enjoy playing outdoors, participate in technical experiments, play football, join a dance workshop, or bake cookies. These are just a few examples of the many varied activities we offer. We also have a special Art BSO where activities in the arts (music, singing, visual arts, and theater) are central. These activities give children the opportunity to develop their talents and work on their social-emotional development. During school holidays, we organize holiday care with varied activities and excursions. Our pedagogical staff listen to the needs of the children and involve them in creating the activity program. There is a strong focus on movement, sports, and play, and we regularly organize workshops both inside and outside the BSO. We believe it is important that children have the space to be themselves, develop their talents, make friendships, and grow into independent individuals. Our BSO meets strict quality and safety requirements as laid down in the Childcare Act and is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 173743717.
