IKC Bloemrijk

Welcome to IKC Bloemrijk, a brand-new Integral Child Centre located at Irisstraat 2 in Hilversum-South. We are a partnership between Bink childcare and Alberdingk Thijm Schools, offering both care and education under one roof for children aged 4 to 13. Our after-school care (BSO) consists of two groups and is housed in the same building as the primary school, allowing children to move straight to a familiar place after classes. At IKC Bloemrijk we believe that play, discovery and learning go hand in hand. Our after-school children enjoy spacious, bright learning plazas full of play opportunities and, in good weather, can explore the large green playground with wooden play equipment, a water-play area and plenty of nature. When the weather is poor we use the gym for active games. We regularly organise fun courses and workshops such as ‘Playing with Music’ for children aged 6 to 9, and we provide free transport to local sports clubs. Our pedagogical staff work closely every day with the school teachers. This means we know every child well and can dovetail seamlessly with what they have experienced during the day. We provide care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; on Wednesday and Friday children are welcomed at BSO Basisbende. Together we create a safe, homely environment in which every child can develop into a skilled, self-confident world citizen.
