IK-OOK

Welcome to IK-OOK BSO, located at Dokter van de Wouwstraat 39 in Nederweert. As part of the IK-OOK childcare organization, we provide after-school care that seamlessly connects with the primary schools of RBOB de Kempen. Together we form a child centre where children aged 4 to 13 feel safe and at home. Our BSO is small-scale and has a homely atmosphere. Each group has a fixed mentor who knows the child well and is always there for them. We offer a varied programme with activities in the fields of sports & games, creativity, nature, technology and culture. Children are free to choose what they want to do: play football together in the garden, do crafts in the studio, or quietly read a book in the reading corner. We work closely with the school. This means we use each other's facilities, such as the playground and the gym. We also align our pedagogical approach with what the child has experienced during the day. This creates a continuous learning and development line from school to childcare. During holidays and study days we are open all day from 07:30 to 18:00. We then organise extra challenging activities and outings. Parents can flexibly choose from pre-school care (07:30-08:30), after-school care (end of school day-18:00) or holiday care. In short: at IK-OOK BSO your child gets the space to grow in a familiar environment, with professional guidance and plenty of room for play, relaxation and development.
