BSO Ratjetoe

BSO Ratjetoe is located at Perengaarde 1 in Rozenburg and is part of HumanKind, a national organization with over 100 years of experience in care, youth support and childcare. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our location has a capacity for up to 36 children and we work closely with local primary schools to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our pedagogical staff are committed to offering children a safe and stimulating environment where they are free to choose their own activities. We believe in the power of freedom and flexibility: while school follows a fixed schedule, children at BSO Ratjetoe decide for themselves what they want to do. Playing, relaxing, discovering and socializing are central to our approach. We offer a variety of activities, but nothing is mandatory, allowing children to develop and unwind in their own way after a busy school day. BSO Ratjetoe is a ‘Lekker fit’ location, which means we pay structural attention to healthy nutrition and physical activity. We also implement a VVE programme (Pre- and Early School Education) to continue supporting children's development outside school hours. Thanks to our long-standing collaboration with primary schools in Rozenburg and the surrounding area, we are well attuned to the world of the children we care for. Our location is designed as a homely place where children feel at ease. We have various indoor spaces for play, relaxation or creative activities, and a secure outdoor play area where children can enjoy themselves freely.
