Buitenschoolse opvang Op Stelten

At BSO Op Stelten in Millingen aan de Rijn, children enjoy their free time to the fullest! We are located at Gengske 5 and have four cozy group spaces at our disposal. Children can express their creativity in our craft studio, get busy in the kitchen corner, play outside to their heart's content, or simply relax with a book or game. Our pedagogical staff pick up children after school from St. Martinus primary school and other nearby schools. We work with vertical groups, where children aged 4 to 12 play and learn together. The youngest children receive guidance, while older children are given increasing independence. We believe in the power of being outdoors. Our large outdoor space invites children to romp, play football and explore. We regularly go on outings with the children: we visit the dike and the water, go to the farm to take care of the animals, or take a walk through the village. During holidays and study days, our program is expanded with fun excursions and workshops. Children have all the space they need to be themselves at our BSO. We offer many different activities: from crafting and cooking to sports and games. Our children's council is active and children are involved in shaping the program. This way they not only learn through play, but also by having a say and taking responsibility. BSO Op Stelten is open all year round, only closed between Christmas and New Year. We work together with parents to ensure that the childcare meets the needs of each child. Together we create a safe, challenging and cozy place where children love to come!
