BSO de Horizon

Welcome to BSO De Horizon, a small-scale after-school care facility in Heerlen where children feel safe and seen. We are located in the same building as primary school De Horizon at Grasbroekerweg 124. Children simply walk from their classroom straight into our group—no buses or extra travel time required. Our BSO has room for up to 33 children, making it clear and calm. This small scale is especially comforting for children who are sensitive to stimuli. We work closely with the school, creating one continuous line between school time and after-school care. Our pedagogical staff know the teachers and know your child, allowing us to respond together to what the child needs. Activities are available for both younger and older children: adventurous treasure hunts, crafts, sports and games, as well as quiet corners for reading or building. We tailor our offer to the children’s interests and let them have a say. In this way they develop their talents and broaden their horizon—literally and figuratively. BSO De Horizon is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30, including during school holidays and study days, ensuring continuous care that fits your family’s schedule.
