HOPPAS Giessen

Welcome to HOPPAS Giessen BSO, located at the GRC-14 sports park on Karbogerd 1 in Giessen. Our team provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 years in a safe and stimulating environment. The location is situated right next to the Almbos forest, which we use daily for outdoor activities and nature experiences. Sports and physical activity are central to our program. Children can participate in various sports activities, including gym classes in collaboration with local associations. A unique opportunity is taking swimming lessons during BSO hours, in partnership with Aqua Altena. Over 100 children have already obtained their swimming diplomas through our program. Our BSO is divided into two age groups: 4-7 years and 7-12 years. Each group has its own space tailored to the specific needs of that age. We provide not just care, but a complete program with fun activities. During school holidays and study days, we organize special vacation programs. We work closely with local partners such as sports associations, music schools, and nature organizations. These collaborations ensure a wide range of activities. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in guiding children after school, where relaxation and development go hand in hand. Parents are actively involved in our care.
