BSO Hoi Pipeloi

Welcome to BSO Hoi Pipeloi, located at Schoolstraat 2 in the centre of Schagerbrug. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a cosy, small-scale environment. Our BSO has 24 regular places and, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, operates two groups: children aged 4–8 stay at Schoolstraat, while the 8–13-year-olds use a classroom at primary school ’t Zwanenest. On all other days the whole group is together at one location. Before-school care runs every weekday from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.; we walk the children to school ourselves. After-school care starts at 2:00 p.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m., with the option to stay until 6:00 p.m. During school holidays and study days the groups are combined at Schoolstraat 2 and we organise fun workshops and excursions. Non-regular children can also join these activities for a small fee. We believe in small groups, familiar faces and a personal mentor for every child. Our qualified staff are trained in Healthy Childcare and Beweegkriebels 4-12. Child participation is key: the children help decide on activities and organise our annual Sinterklaas and summer parties themselves. Every day we provide healthy food and drinks, finish with a vegetable snack and make sure we move a lot – outside and on our exercise floor. We look after the fruit trees in our own garden and regularly go on outings. Flexibility matters: parents can adjust days and hours by arrangement. Children aged 8+ may, with parental consent, travel to and from school or sports activities independently; younger children are always accompanied.
