het Zonneroosje

het Zonneroosje is an after-school care facility (BSO) operated by Christelijke opvang De Kindertuin B.V., located at Teunis Lodderstraat 13 in Rijssen. We provide care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 12 years. Children are placed in a single base group, and each child is assigned a personal mentor. This mentor is the main point of contact for both child and parents and discusses the child’s development with parents when desired. Our facility is temporarily housed within a local playground association’s premises. We have two indoor spaces totaling 121 m², equipped with play corners, open shelves with play materials, seating areas, tables, and a reading corner. Children have access to adjacent restrooms in the hallway. The outdoor area, provided by the playground association and located at the front and side of the building, offers ample space for outdoor play and is appropriately designed for the age and number of children. At het Zonneroosje, we follow a pedagogical policy that playfully challenges children in their development. We focus on motor, cognitive, language, and creative skills. We also guide children in their social interactions and teach them to engage with commonly accepted values and norms. Dutch is the primary language used. Safety and health are top priorities. We maintain an up-to-date safety and health policy that is continuously evaluated and adjusted. All our pedagogical staff hold a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and are registered in the Childcare Personnel Register. We are affiliated with the Childcare Disputes Committee and have a clear complaints procedure accessible through the parent portal.
