Welcome to BSO Zonnelicht at Rijnstraat 559 in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Our after-school care is specially designed for children aged 4 to 12 who want to relax, play and discover after school. We offer a varied range of activities with a strong focus on nature, creativity and sustainability. Our location is ideally situated, right next to Vrije School De Driestroom and within walking distance of the Oosterplas lake, the nature playground and De Oosterhoeve petting farm. At BSO Zonnelicht, the child is always at the centre. We guide children in developing 21st-century skills such as self-awareness, collaboration, empathy and sustainable thinking. We believe every child has unique talents and we provide activities that match their interests and developmental level. Activities include music, dance, painting, gardening, sports and outdoor play. We spend a lot of time outside and make full use of the rich natural environment to let children experience, discover and learn. Our pedagogical approach is based on a neo-humanistic vision. We provide peace, space, love and personal attention. We work closely with parents and local schools, including De Driestroom, AQUAmarijn and the Oberon. We pick up children from school and ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. BSO Zonnelicht is a place where children can be themselves, relax and playfully discover who they are and what they enjoy. We offer a safe and challenging environment where children learn to interact with the world around them, with respect for themselves, others and nature.
