Zonnelicht aan de Oosterplas

Welcome to BSO Zonnelicht aan de Oosterplas, our beautiful after-school care facility in 's-Hertogenbosch. Since January 1, 2023, we have been providing a warm and challenging place for up to 44 children aged 4 to 12 years at IJsselsingel 40A. Our location is uniquely situated with the Oosterplas lake, nature playground and children's farm within walking distance. This green environment offers endless opportunities for outdoor play and nature experiences. We work intensively with Vrije School De Driestroom and Montessori KC Aan de Oosterplas, literally located in the backyard of these schools. At BSO Zonnelicht, we believe in developing 21st century skills. Our children learn to take care of themselves and the environment, for now and the future. We focus on skills such as self-esteem, independence, empathy, responsibility and sustainability. Our activities are aimed at meaningful relationships, collaboration and developing critical thinking. For the younger children from Vrije School De Driestroom (groups 1, 2 and 3), we offer BSO Vergeetmenietje. As these children finish school at 1:00 PM, we provide care until 2:30 PM when the older children join. This offers parents flexibility and convenient pick-up when multiple children attend school. We are registered in the National Childcare Register under number 240048349 and are supervised by GGD Hart voor Brabant. Our BSO is part of KDV Zonnelicht B.V., an organization with extensive experience in childcare.
