About this care

AI
We are the after-school care facility of IKC Het Woud, located at Herenweg 165 in the heart of Rijnsaterwoude. As part of FloreoKids, we provide care for primary school children aged 4 to 12 years in one vertical group. Our BSO is housed in the modern IKC building that we have shared with primary school Het Woud since April 1, 2022. Our pedagogical staff welcome children directly after school. Around our location, there is plenty of space for outdoor activities – we use the school playground and the green surroundings of the village. Inside, we have sufficient space for cozy activities such as playing games, reading together, and being creative with crafts. We work from the conviction that children develop best by playing and discovering together. The BSO is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM. We work with small-scale groups where children of different ages play together and learn from each other. This vertical group structure creates a homely atmosphere in which every child feels at home and can develop at their own pace. As a FloreoKids location, we stand for childcare with room for everyone's talents and involvement in the local community. We work closely with the primary school, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Parents can find more detailed information about our approach in our pedagogical work plan.
