Welcome to Het Tuinhuis, location Mendelweg 14a in Boskoop. We provide after-school care (BSO) for up to 24 children aged 4 to 12. Our house is situated in a quiet, green neighbourhood and is specially designed to offer children a safe, challenging and, above all, enjoyable place after school. Everything we do revolves around self-confidence and enjoying nature. Whenever the weather allows, the children play outside: they go on scavenger hunts, play tag, football or explore the garden. When the weather is less inviting, there is plenty to do indoors: building with Lego, colouring, crafting and even baking cookies together. Activities are tailored to age; younger groups receive guided play, while older children can quietly do their homework before joining sporty or creative challenges. We work according to the ZaaiGoed method, which encourages children to stay curious, make their own choices and learn from each other. Groups are arranged by age so every child quickly feels at home and can develop at his or her own pace. We also offer the option of taking swimming lessons during the care hours. Our dedicated team of pedagogical staff collects the children on foot or by bicycle from the primary schools in the immediate area. We align our opening hours with school times and are open during school weeks, study days and holidays.
