BSO het Speelschip

Welcome to BSO het Speelschip, our cheerful after-school care centre in the heart of Gouderak. We are located on the grounds of primary school De Kranepoort at J. Huurmanlaan 10, which allows us to pick the children up straight from their classroom when school ends. Our team of experienced pedagogical staff welcomes up to 44 children each day, divided into two base groups: De Kapiteinen (The Captains) and De Matrozen (The Sailors). This arrangement takes age and development into account, ensuring every child plays and discovers in a safe, stimulating environment. Our doors are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 07:30 to 18:00; we are closed on Wednesdays. For parents who start earlier or finish later, we offer early care (07:00-07:30) and extended care (18:00-19:00) on request. During school holidays we already start at 07:30, so holiday days run smoothly as well. A typical afternoon begins at 14:15 with a quiet moment: a drink, a biscuit and time to unwind after the school day. Afterwards we go outside or use the playroom for movement games. Around 16:30 we sit together at the table for a cracker with toppings and another drink. The final hours are dedicated to free play, always with room for personal attention and a full hand-over to parents. BSO het Speelschip works closely with OBS De Kranepoort and CBS De Bron. We not only pick up the children, but also serve as their trusted place for morning care (07:30-08:30) and lunch-time care. In this way school and after-school care form one continuous, secure line for your child.
