BSO Het Speelhuis

Welcome to BSO Het Speelhuis, located at Berkstraat 75 in the heart of Oldenzaal. As part of Humankind Childcare and Development, we provide after-school care designed especially for children aged 4 to 13. With us, the hours after school are meant both for winding down and for discovering new things. Our pedagogical staff create a warm, familiar feeling every single day. We work from one clear principle: children need free time, yet they also love to be challenged. That is why we combine relaxation and adventure. After a long school day children can play, craft, build, run, or simply do nothing at all. Anything goes, nothing is obligatory. BSO Het Speelhuis cooperates with primary schools in the immediate area, so we pick the children up safely after school and bring them straight to our location. The groups are small and manageable, giving us real time and attention for every child. We know them by name, understand what they enjoy and tailor our programme accordingly. Our rooms are bright, colourful and inviting. Inside there is plenty of space for creative corners, a chill-out zone with books and games, and a small kitchen where we regularly cook or bake together. Outside we have a secure playground with climbing frames, a sandpit and enough room to play football or tag. During school holidays BSO Het Speelhuis turns into one big adventure. We organise themed weeks, go on excursions, build camps in the gym or create our own film. Even then children are allowed to think along and choose. This keeps every holiday surprising and fun. We believe it is important for parents to stay involved. Through our parent app we share daily photos and short messages so you can see what your child is up to. Questions or ideas?
