BSO Het Palet

Welcome to BSO Het Palet, located at Rijneiland 4 in the heart of the quiet new-build neighborhood of Odijk. We are part of Kind&Co Ludens and offer professional after-school care for up to 50 children aged 4 to 12. Our location is situated in the Broad School Het Palet, allowing children to stay in a familiar environment right after school. BSO Het Palet operates with two vertical groups that can be separated by a sliding wall. Each group has access to its own kitchen where children cook and bake together. One day they make a carrot cake, the next a healthy pizza. Our spaces are cozily furnished with play materials tailored to the different age groups. Younger children have a quiet outdoor area, while older children can enjoy two large outdoor spaces with challenging play equipment. Next to the complex is a play forest where we regularly go on adventures. At BSO Het Palet, natural play and talent development are central. Children can do crafts, sports, color, act, or simply relax in our chill corner with a lounge area to read a book. During school holidays, we organize themed weeks with fun outings to places like the forest, petting zoo, or other educational locations. We also offer before-school care from 7:30 to 8:30 AM, during which our pedagogical staff accompany the children to school and ensure a smooth handover to the teacher. Our approach is based on the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&Co Ludens. We believe it is important that children feel comfortable and have fun, as this creates space for development. We give children confidence and space to explore and be curious. Together, we create a rich environment where play equals discovery and learning. Our childcare is a mini-society where we care for each other and the world around us.
