BSO Het Noorderlicht

Welcome to BSO Het Noorderlicht, located in the modern school building of primary school Het Noorderlicht at Bezelhorstweg 115 in Doetinchem. As part of Stichting Spelenderwijs IJsselgraaf, we provide after-school care for up to 29 children aged 4 to 12. Our location has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 August 2017 under number 237348950. We work closely with Het Noorderlicht primary school. This close partnership means children step straight into a familiar environment after school. Our pedagogical staff align activities and themes with the children’s school development, creating a seamless transition between school and care. Children have access to both spacious indoor areas and the school playground and the green surroundings of the Bezelhorst district. We are open on weekdays from 14:00 to 18:00/18:30. During school holidays and study days we offer holiday care from 07:30 to 18:00/18:30, so parents can rely on us outside the regular school year as well. The rooms are playfully and challengingly furnished, including a developing technology corner where children can explore building, discovery and creation. At BSO Het Noorderlicht the child is at the centre. We provide a safe and familiar place where children can be themselves, discover their talents and are playfully challenged in their development. Our pedagogical staff guide children in their social interactions, stimulate creative and motor skills and offer rest and structure after an intensive school day.
