BSO Het Koraal

BSO Het Koraal is located inside primary school Het Koraal at Beukemastraat 44 in Hoogeveen. We provide Christian after-school care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12. Our mission is to pass on Christian values and let children experience God’s love. Every day we pray together, sing Christian children’s songs, read from the Bible and celebrate Christian holidays. Our qualified staff pick the children up on foot from the partner schools: De Sprong, De Fontein and Het Koraal. When fewer than four children are collected, we use a car. We have a large, safe playground with plenty of play options, and we go outside every day so that children can explore, play and meet in a stimulating environment. After school there is time to relax, play and take part in activities that link to the school’s themes. We work closely with Het Koraal’s teachers so that the transition from school to after-school care is smooth and the pedagogical climate is aligned. Attention and fun are central: children choose what they feel like doing, whether that is outdoor play, crafts, reading or sports. Our Christian identity underpins everything we do. We believe every child is unique and valuable, just like coral, and we offer a safe place where children can develop with their own talents.
