BSO Het Houtsnipnest

Welcome to after-school care Het Houtsnipnest in Zoetermeer Rokkeveen! Here your child will have a wonderful time after the last school bell rings. We provide a pleasant, healthy environment where good nutrition and sufficient exercise are central. Our after-school care is divided into three age groups, making it easier to provide activities that match your child's age and preferences. Children aged 4 to 7 are cared for at primary school De Waterlelie, where we can use the auditorium, gymnasium, and a classroom. For the 7 to 8.5 years age group, we care for your child in a dedicated room at Het Houtsnipnest. Your child is picked up from school by a regular staff member, and together we walk to the after-school care. Children aged 8.5 and older go to the KIDSclub on Beitspad. We can come up with all the activities ourselves, but it's much more fun when children help decide. That's why we give them an active role in creating our extensive activity program. And of course, every day they decide for themselves what they want to do. After-school care is free time, and that's exactly how it should feel. Both the youngest children who use De Waterlelie and the older children at Het Houtsnipnest have wonderful spaces available. The rooms are bright and spacious, so children can play, craft, and read to their heart's content. We play outside daily, and there's plenty of space for that too. At De Waterlelie we use the large school playground, and at Het Houtsnipnest we have a playing field right in front of the building. During holidays there's also a super fun, varied activity program. We determine the program together with the other after-school care locations in Zoetermeer Rokkeveen. On quiet days we combine with other after-school care locations. This gives your child a great chance to make new friends. We always share the program with parents a few weeks in advance. We also offer before-school care for children from De Waterlelie and Floriant schools. Your child is then taken to school by one of our pedagogical staff members.
