BSO Het Boskasteel

Welcome to BSO Het Boskasteel, located at Kinkelenburg 18-19 in Dordrecht. We are part of Gro-up Kinderopvang and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. Our motto is ‘Together we colour the world’. We focus on the overall development of your child, offering not just professional care, but also fun and challenging experiences that help children grow and thrive. BSO Het Boskasteel operates with one horizontal group, the Bosuilen, with a maximum capacity of 22 children. We are open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00–8:30 AM and 3:15–6:30 PM. On Wednesdays we are open from 7:00–8:30 AM and 12:00–6:30 PM. During school holidays and study days, we provide care according to our regular schedule. In holiday periods we offer a varied programme of creative, sports and nature activities, tailored to different age groups. We believe it is important for children to feel safe and at home. That’s why we always start the afternoon together at the table with fruit and a drink. Children can share what’s on their mind and then choose what they want to do. We provide development-focused activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor play and sports challenges. Our work is guided by our pedagogical vision ‘Together we colour the world’, which can be found on our website. Parents and childcare professionals work together at our location. We have regular contact moments at drop-off and pick-up, hold parent meetings and use the Parent App for daily communication and requesting extra care. Our location manager, Esther Waltmans, is always available for personal contact. We see parents as partners in parenting and actively involve them in the well-being and development of their child.
